2003 Spring PIHL Playoffs:

The Moose Knuckles take the top seed and look for their third straight championship, opening the first round against the Tuaca Shooters. The Moose took the season series, 2-0-1.

The Knuckles took control of the series with a 4 goal outburst in the first period of game 1, on their way to a 5-0 beating of the Shooters.

Game 2 also saw the Knuckles out to a 4-0 lead in the first as the game and series ended on that note.

The Knuckles now await the winner of the Controlled Chaos vs. Jokerit semifinal.

Game 1 of the Jokerit/Chaos series was a bit of a surprise as Chaos pulled the Fins into sudden death overtime, before succumbing 3-2 on a goal by Jonus Gerrits.

Game 2 will be Monday night.
